I think I recall reading the guitars were Gibbo LP's, but they belonged to the producer/engineer? I don't think they owned any 'big dollar' gear back on the first album as they were just kids in a little Newy band.

I think he had an LP for Frogstomp but yeah Kevin Shirley may have brought some stuff in. Great producer and engineer that guy - he also did the Baby Animals debut.

Shame the drums are what they are but fantastic guitar tone. Tones are great on Louder Than Love too but that’s ‘89.

They captured a great sound for the band on this album. King said he wanted to work with D Sardy again but they never did. Sounds better than any original studio album that followed.
