Smoked salmon is one of my favorite foods but that's for rich people so I'm singing those pond raised tilapia blues. Wild rice is something endemic to where I grew up, love the stuff. Really nice meal u got there bro.

I tend to disagree. Salmon isn't for rich people, I am not rich. And fried tilapia can be badass, with some hush puppies.

One of my favorites is good old sardines. healthy too. The other day I splurged and tried kippers. They were awesome, nice and smokey. Mackeral is tasty also.

I'm still working on a box of King Oscars sardines I bought at the beginning of COVID. Great shelf life. Not too much fish I don't enjoy, freshwater and saltwater both. My old man bought a cheap fixer upper on the lake in MN back in the day then sold it and moved to FL across from the intercoastal so lots of fishing. Learning how to work a fly rod good is the final frontier for me....

I catch and release everything though ......... being in Rhode Island you would figure I would be a Salt Water Fiend ..... but I'm not .... Salt requires a lot more dough and some experience ...... I grew up in my Dad's Sears Gamefisher Bass Boat that only went into fresh water ...
Smallmouth and Largemouth for me .... preferably Smallmouth
