I know every guitarist has different needs for their playing, style, tones...ect. What would be the most inexpensive rig you could put together, to gig or tour with? This is assuming that you did not have to always depend on front of house.

4x12 and powered Kemper with some decent profiles.

Is that inexpensive though?

I think so, I am sure you could do it much cheaper but most rigs are going to be 3k or more.

Kemper and cab could be had for just under 2k.

I am thinking ADA-MP-1 from a pawn shop, a used Peavey Classic 50/50 or even a Mosvalve power amp and a 2x12. That is pretty cheap. Could you not use that? That's like $450-500. I am seriously considering gigging with a fucking 1x15 Peavey Delta combo with a Boss Blues driver.

All gear used. ~1800.00 dollars US
Peavey 6505 head (600)
Maxon od808 (100)
Boss TU3 (70)
Fortin Zuul (225)
Maxon AD9Pro (175)
MESA 412 Traditional w/stock v30's (600)

Refigured the approximate price after I broke them down. You could cut a few hundred by going with an iSP Decimator II (70), a Boss DD3 (70), and a Marshall 412 (300), but keep the 6505 and the od808. That's still a real solid rig for approximately 1200. Forgot to include a tuner.

So that is literally the CHEAPEST you could get by with gigging?

+1
If you're a touring hard rock / metal act, that would be the bare bones. Sub in a used DSL for the 6505 if you need the Marshall vibe, but that's pretty much it.
Top 40 in your home town once a month for shits and grins, a Deluxe and a Blues driver gets the job done.
Define the gig, and you'll get better answers.

If you're gigging, you need your gear to be dependable. These are all roadworthy bits of gear that can take rough handling and still make noise the next night. So yeah, for me, thats the cheapest I could get by with, or that I would feel comfortable putting in the back of a van and driving around the country with for an extended period of time. But I'm not you. You might be fine with the gear you posted earlier in the thread. If that's what you need to feel comfortable then go get em. You'll probably be just fine.

My Boss Katana 100 Head and a DV Mark 1x12 Cabinet would be the least expensive rig I could gig with. Costs about $800 for this setup new with the footswitch and maybe $650 used. Next up from that would be my EVH 5150 III 50 Watt Head and ANY of my 2x12/4x12 cabs. Call that $1,500 new or $1,000 used assuming a 2x12 or an inexpensive 4x12.

I'm currently playing my telecaster into a stock AC30C2 for my main project, so probably that. I could make it happen with an AC15 or something too, whatever. I'm honestly easy to please, despite being a gear dork. The expensive gear is another way to have fun with playing guitar, but not necessary. I really believe the minute differences in gear we agonize over on message boards are unintelligible when gigging. I toured off/on for years and had my active musical period with a handed down 5150, nameless cabinet with Vintage 30s, and an Ibanez JS series.

Quilter Mini 101 50/100 watt $300 new
Egnater 2x12 w/Elite 80’s $200 used
Carl Martin 3 button Plexitone $165 used
Wah $30 used
Tuner $100 new

HD500
Some 1000w Class D SS power amp (~$300 new FYI)
Cheap front loaded quad (Laney/Carvin?)
Ibanez with 5pc neck

I gig my DSL40c with an SD-1 regularly in small clubs. Sounds great. Total cost = $600

DSL40CR with a Line6 HX, and maybe a couple pedals on the side. Probably $2K.

I actually did a gig or two 5 yrs ago with this setup.....

Crate Stealth GT100H=145
Decimator II=50
SD1=30
1960a cab=200
Intellifex=125

Used 5150/6505,a 10 band and a gate,and a 4x12.

And a $250 guitar cable just because.

We could do a whole thread on that point.

I gigged with this setup for over 10 years playing death metal:

Ampeg SS140C head (built in stereo chorus and reverb) $250
Ampeg SS412ES cab with G12T-75s- $250
Boss NS-2- $40

Or I could sub in my Crate Stealth 50 watt head and still keep it cheap.
