The most INEXPENSIVE rig you would gig....

If I was doing my own material it would be a Peavey Bandit, Cantrell wah pedal and one of my super strat partscasters.

For a cover band I would use my POD HD300 and a Behringer powered mixer and wedge or a Behringer powered speaker. I'd still use one of my super strat partscasters but would add a d-tuna.

My electric guitar, a guitar cable, and a Marshall MS-2 Micro-Stack guitar amp into the Line In of the mixing desk and out of the Front Of House Speakers. No joke.

If i had to not take the Diezel... I'd definitely gig my Orange Micro Dark into my ADA 2x12.

I could get by OK on a metal zone with the Diezel mod into a Peavey bandit or Marshall mg but that's really scraping the bottom.

on another note I can't believe how cheap you guys can get decent 4x12's in the states, where I am I've literally never seen a beaten to crap Marshall or Mesa cab dip below 350/600 bucks respectively, just interesting. these people getting finding 1960's cabs for $200 man I'd have a Malmsteen worthy wall of em just because. :D

I'd gig my K100 no problem, and could go with a partscaster for guitar.

Hmmm probably the rig I have now? lol
It's not shitty by any means, but it's not a killer dream rig either. It's perfect for my hard rock band right now, so I don't really need to change anything at the moment.
Jet City JCA50 head, Avatar 2x12 loaded with a K85 & V30, MXR 10 band EQ in the loop and a Boss SD-1 out front. Guitar is a Ibanez RG2550 Prestige.

It weird actually. You can’t sell 4x12’s for shit around here. I had my engls up for sale for $300 each, and mofos still tried to lowball me. I decided to just keep them cause they sound amazing. Heavy as all hell though.

yeah to be fair they don't exactly move fast around here they have to sit and sit until somebody cough's up enough for the full amount.

Squire HSS through a Marshall SS.
I've seen pros make that setup sound beautiful.
Honestly, tone gets picked apart and over dramatized on these forums.
One of the best guitarists I've seen, that can nail all the tones, SRV to EVH and beyond, uses a partscaster and Carvin Legacy 3.
Ian Moore sounds just as good through a cheap Reverend Buckshot and home brew AC, as he does with his 60s Strat and Matchless whatever. Pedals have been different every time I've seen him.
My grandfather could smoke anyone, and he was using a cheap Harmony Vibra-Jet through a Fender Dual Showman. Because the man could play. And that's what it all really comes down to.

Mooer Micro Pre 011 (Friedman BE100) and Zoom MS 50g for FX and solo (volume) boost. Unbelievable! Of course a decent guitar, EVH striped series and the drawback would be going through PA. It really sounds great. All under 800$.

Same thing I've always gigged with...my ghetto rack with whatever power amp or amp head I have at the time..totally low budget..Marshall JMP-1 preamp with an Alesis Quadraverb into a power amp but usually a Marshall 2204 or 2203 or the like
