Pretty interesting. If you get the time in the future, you should do a test with the Marsha and the AxeFX through a miced cab to eliminate any influence of the Faustine.

ya but the attenuator/iso I used in the Marsha test, was the Faustine- not the Hotplate- the Faustine has a really nice sounding line out-
sometime I'll post a comparison of the Suhr ISO line out, the Faustine...... and the Hotplate- which was the file I replaced in the 2nd clip comparing the mic'd PT 100 to the di/redwrez PT 100, because it sounded dark

That would be cool to hear the differences in the line outs. I'm thinking of getting used THD and an ISO. I should have never sold the ISO I had but I wasn't doing the WDW anymore so I didnt think I would need it.

I actually preferred the first section as well - funny that it was the Axe... I didn't bother to guess because I know better than to try... The Axe is a powerful tool and a lot of fun - love the changes they made to the Mac editor as well! Looks cool and works great!

I did not reply beforehand, but I did think maybe #2 was the Marsha.
The hum/sound immediately before the 2nd clip starts tipped me off. Either way, very impressive clips - wow.

1st part is definitely Axe and 2nd is Marsha. There is a quality to the attack and definition and makes it all too apparent.

My posting in this thread was delayed slightly, I'm going to guess that the first clip was the axe-fx because I heard MANY more zeros and ones than I did on the second clip. The second clip had a juicy embiggeness that certainly enobled the guitar played through it.

One question..was that Marsha preset tweaked in any way or is it the stock one from the update? If it is tweaked would you be kind enough to give us the settings?
