I have only 1 person on ignore, and i'll die on that hill.
Shit I'm being ignored by NoHassle WTF?They certainly do and the ones I know, who 100% salivate over them, are on ignore...thankfully.
The announcement: Ignore Rant. Shortened to ignorant. The only thing that's more pussified than putting people on ignore is constantly announcing it to the entire forum.
Obviously I can see YOUR post.Shit I'm being ignored by NoHassle WTF?
Still the 84SemenPump you'll always be.The announcement: Ignore Rant. Shortened to ignorant.
What year T/A?Good thread. Life is so full of of reasons to be miserable. It really pays to slow down once in a while and think of 3 things that you might be taking for granted that you are genuinely appreciative of.
1) I really appreciate the fact that I get as big a charge out of my gear / playing guitar / and blasting through a loud box of glass now as I did when I was young. It still brings me joy.
2) I've got and old Trans Am that has re-introduced me to the concept of patience. After too much $$, disappointment and frustration, I really need to appreciate those precious few days when everything WORKS at the same time, you can turn the key, and go for a drive without worrying about being stranded anywhere!
3) I'm not the fittest guy in the world - but at 59, I need to appreciate the fact that I am still able to hit a quick work out every morning and it resets my attitude for the entire day.
1973. And I will take the shots from the Pontiac Purists - this one is a Pro-Touring car: DSE Q-Link / DSE Front Subframe / LS9 / T-56. Lots of ups and downs getting all those aftermarket parts to fit and function correctly. What year T/A?
Van Nuys or Norwood car?1973. And I will take the shots from the Pontiac Purists - this one is a Pro-Touring car: DSE Q-Link / DSE Front Subframe / LS9 / T-56. Lots of ups and downs getting all those aftermarket parts to fit and function correctly.
FWIW - I am a bit of a Pontiac 'Purist' myself - having owned a pair of traditional powered 1973 TAs before this one. They were sort of 'Day-2' Resto-Mods with Aluminum Heads, cam, headers, and Hotchkis upgraded suspensions. Very pure 'Pontiac' Hot Rods. But I wanted the experience of doing the modern LS Pro-Tour thing once in my life and did not have the budget (or garage space) to keep the old ones while doing the new one. Oh well - life is about experiences, right?

Man, outside of the mopar stuff the 73 Pontiac TA with a 455 is my dream machine.....jeweled dash, sweet steering wheel. An old friend of mine had a 76 with a cam in there but the fascia isn't as sweet as the 73. Pontiacs finest hour.1973. BUT.....did YOU have the St. Christopher medallion hanging from the rear view mirror of your car? He makes any car go fasterMan, outside of the mopar stuff the 73 Pontiac TA with a 455 is my dream machine.....jeweled dash, sweet steering wheel. Dam - that's a good question... I will have to see if I have at least a photocopy of the build sheet. This particular car was in the shop where I got my Red and Green Cars - the prior owner had commissioned this big Pro Tour build and then ghosted the shop half way through the build. Shop owner said the car was a very clean, bone dry car with no rust and no prior body work, but since it was going to be such a non-stock build, there wasn't a binder with the build sheet / window sticker / service records and things like that.Van Nuys or Norwood car?
If its stock almost guaranteed to be retarted by the factory as with most 72 and 73 mustangs.Man, outside of the mopar stuff the 73 Pontiac TA with a 455 is my dream machine.....jeweled dash, sweet steering wheel. I would use a degree wheel to confirm the cam timing. If its stock almost guaranteed to be retarted by the factory as with most 72 and 73 mustangs.
Pop the cover and put it back to TDC
Smart to do so but i never did.I would use a degree wheel to confirm the cam timing.
