Well Sebastian was "catting around" all nite, he needed to come in our room every 20 to 30 minutes and check to see if we were still there.
He's been in kitty jail for 4 years so not used to the freedom.
At 3am he thought it was a good idea to climb the tallest bookcase in the living room sending some stuff crashing down.
Reminds me of raising kids in the 90's ...lol.
No harm no foul, he's a keeper.

My cats run when they see the power light on the amps come on. And I keep them covered when not being used since they love to sharpen their claws on the cloth and tolex. I've got more covers and moving blankets than you can imagine.

Had 3 cats. One passed on Saturday :aww:
Swear to god you think not gonna get attached....
I was bawling like a baby.
He was 15 years old. Lived a great life.
If I came back in a second life it would be a house cat in a good home.

My condolences.

I always cry like a bitch.

Hindsight being 20/20 and all...I should've named them Hughes and Cattner.

^This. I have small kids (read: hurricane) so the cat usually hangs out upstairs during the day where it's quiet and safe. I can go upstairs and do anything I want and she'll just sit there and watch, but as soon as I hit the switch on the power conditioner to fire everything up she high tails it to the bathroom and tucks into the towel rack.

Sorry to hear that Dan. We just lost our orange tabby Buster last month. Came out of nowhere. He ended up being diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. He was almost 14 and I'd had him since he was a kitten. I was a mess as well. Hell, we were still trying to recover from the loss of one of our Labbies last June when this happened. We're those kind of pet parents. They are our kids!

They're great cats. More dog-like. Mine sits at the back window and "barks" at birds. He chased a rabbit in the back yard a couple nights ago. And they look pretty insane with the cheetah-like spots.

They're not cheap, but they're worth it. Usually $900 and up depending on coat, lineage etc...

This is what Kona really likes to do:

Here is one of our Bengals. We have white one as well but she's more shy. This is Dory and she's the greatest cat we've ever owned.... super friendly and will even let you rub her tummy. Like people have said they are kinda dog like in that way.
