Don't sell it! I sold mine, but I'll get another in the future. The thing rules! Flat out tone machine!

Dump the Stealth. Keep the EBMM. First and best EVH signature guitar.

The Stealth has been personally built by Chip Ellis and will be back next week. Its a bit of a long story but its been masterbuilt for me and isn't going anywhere. I'll have pics once it gets home

I think a few guys missed the point I'm getting at, or I didn't make it all that clear lol. I'm not getting out of EVH's all together, I WILL have another one in the next few months. I just don't want that much money tied up in one because of the color. Personally, I think blue looks the best on the EBMM guitars, which will be what I set out to get next.
Btw, if you notice the PRS is no longer available

If its the blue one from guitar center then from what multiple people including a "tech" over there told me it does in fact have a neck problem...

Returned the EVH from GC today... The neck is firewood. :aww:

I did however pick up a '99 Amber Quilt Axis from Sam Ash (on the way home) for $1000.00 OTD!

It's not a twisted... It's warped between the 7th and 15th frets (bass side). One of the worst I've ever seen. It's either a billet that wasn't cured properly, or a bad piece of maple. Actuating the truss rod has zero effect at the warped area, yet IS effective between frets 1 through 6. I guess it's possible the lower neck was compressed at some point, but it is unlikely. Crowning the frets could make it temporarily usable.

There are rumors going round that the MM EVH/Axis necks must have tension on them at all times; which is utterly ridiculous. The reason you need to leave one string on, is to keep the bridge from slipping off the (bass side) beveled post. I'm going to Van-Halen-ize the stock Axis pickups, and install a D-Tuna. I have one around here somewhere, but damned if I can find it.

btw, I played a rosewood Luke III at Sam Ash... A very fine instrument!

I wish the Axis had the pickup selector in the same spot as the original EVH.

Those guitars are so different. The Axis and PRS both have a 10" radius but the mahogany on the PRS makes it sound much thicker and fatter. I prefer the PRS all day for riffs and recording. You should get the PRS.

I have to be honest, I've never liked PRS guitars. I've played many, yet have never felt the desire to take one home with me. Not even the mighty 513. This Custom 24 w/bare neck, nitro finish, and Floyd Rose has me interested. 'd need to play one first, of-course... The necks seem to all be pattern thin, which I fear may be some kind of "shredder" profile, which I do not want. A scalloped Custom 24 would be great!

I have one wide thin, the rest I've had all had the wide/fat profile. I wouldn't say it's a thin neck by shredder standards. I have an EVH Wolfgang that feels much thinner/flatter to my hand.
