Three amps fit me perfectly - decided to move on from the 4th

With that description, I'd at least be checking out something in the Mesa Mk lineup. Not that you need to replace the one that just left, and I love my Soldano....which is definitely a darker, smoother take on a high gain Marshall but still not what I'd really classify on that side overall.

The SLO-30 is definitely more raw, but works for me. It just has such a great tone that I like it.
The Astro 20 pulls off more of the tones I am talking about as does the Victory.
I have heard the Mesa Mk series is more along those lines, but for some reason I don't bond with Mesas?

I need to try one in person.
