Dude I'm so glad Im not even remotely trying to get one of these.
How are you and the Hagster doing Bro? Don't worry - my report will be coming soon; in depth review, sound with different cabs, etc. I'm keeping things under the radar for now :D

Peace,
Mojo

Ok, Cliff posted that more units will be shipped to TM this week...here's the thread...

http://forum.fractalaudio.com/axe-fx-ii ... x-iis.html

No mention of how many, but a confirmation of some for sure...!

I'm glad the thread gave some much deserve info. Unfortunately I'm not too satisfied with Cliff's answer. Shipping more this week yeah....

When ? Really this week ? Not next week ? Or two weeks froms now? Last time he said he would ship this week... was a 3-4 weeks and he never did

How many will he ship ? 5? 15 ? 25? 38 :D?

After this shipment, when will be the next ? in 6-7 weeks from then ?

If I dont bond with the AXII in a serious way and I seriously doubt I will because no other modeler has come close to making me happy with my tone at gig volume's a Hagen will be my next amp!!!!!

Do you have an AxeFX II?
Are you on the Tone Merchants or on the Fractal list ?
Did you jump the line at 2600$ ?
Hell no. I invested in Rubios Fish Tacos. Much better choice...

Avenyr,

I agree.
So what! You're gonna waste your coin on it and stare at the thing, for what...

Play some guitar.

^^^ what??? Who would spend $2200 on a processor to just stare at it? It's going in the studio in the place my TRIAXIS and Gforce left when I sold them 2 months ago. Been working on other things since then, but I gotta get this soon...!

Not that this will do any good...

We expect to ship 16 units to TM by the end of the week.

We don't accept deposits from anyone. That has always been, and will always be, the case. We don't charge credit cards until product is shipped and all our dealers have terms.

TM and G66 are very pleased with us and our products. I implore you to simply ask them. Rob at TM is a stand-up guy and we have an excellent relationship. Again, I implore you to simply ask him. The same goes for Jacques from G66.

FWIW, there was some confusion at the launch. TM forgot to place a purchase order with us so there were no units slated for them. I agreed to supply them units ahead of the normal delivery schedule despite this. Normally it is 8-12 weeks ARO. Those units I agreed to give them are coming out of the units we were intending for our own sales. They have since placed a P.O. and they will receive a steady stream of inventory once we receive completed product. Despite this, TM should not be criticized. It was an honest mistake, a simple accounting oversight.

I apologize for the way things have been handled and we are doing our very best to improve product availability.

Yes, thank you Cliff for that update. It makes a difference to me personally, as I wasn't upset, just looking for answers. Some of us do appreciate what info you do give...so thanks for providing a straight response!

Appreciate the update as well.

The wait is much easier when you have an idea of that is going on and what to expect rather then being in the dark.

Thanks Cliff for taking the time to update us on the situation. I think it will do more good than you think. It explains everything clearly and that satisfies me entirely.

I apologize for pointing the finger your way or for assuming Fractal could be responsible. I can only imagine how hard you are working. There's no denying that you are doing whatever is humanly possible to satisfy everyone.

I'll be eagerly expecting the next shipment following this week's shipment

Thanks to Cliff as well, that explains a lot. However, this makes one wonder about TM, who must have known what the issue was, but allowed us all to assume that it was Fractal's fault. TM probably could have cleared the whole thing up before it got started. It does explain why they have been silent on the issue lately.

Well, worst case scenario is TM has had a lot of people's cash in their account, interest free, for a couple months and knew it didn't have to be accounted for until the product - the Axe-II - showed up. I believe each deposit was 50%, and with 50 people on board, that's $55,000 in coin. What agreement was made betwixt TM and Fractal? Don't know. Was it similar to the G66 agreement. Don't know.

Best case scenario - as per all the additional information recently gleaned, there was a fuck up. And now, after some time with deposits still being held interest free, the product is starting to show up.

Shit happens.

^$55,000 x .25% x 3/12 = $34 give or take. Just to put it into perspective....TM isn't getting rich off interest at current money market rates over the three months they've held deposits.

If what Cliff says is true (and it sounds like a reasonable account of what happened), then TM figured out at some point in June that they failed to place their order. So, instead of telling the individuals on the waiting list about their screw-up, they left us hanging with no idea why FAS was selling units but we weren't getting ours. So the question is why didn't TM tell us something like "sorry guys we screwed-up, you are looking at an additional 8 weeks."

No Purchase Order...huh. Thanks Cliff for clearing that up. Been playing my Axe II and you have some great stuff going on with it. Congratulations on your success, keep it going. What power amp do you recommend going into a couple of V30 rearload cabs?

No, no. Fair enough, I wasn't being accusatory. I was simply speaking globally and generally, nothing more - nothing less. Hence the rationale of "best case" and "worst case" scenarios.

I ain't dissin' my guys Rob and Brad. Or Tiki for that matter ;)
