He should remake the mod that he did to Kee Marcello's Plexi back in 80's

I have the Kee Marcello model. Is the fourth of four ever made. I picked it up in Sweden at Tommys place and Tommy actually had Kees amp in his workshop for restoration at this time.

It’s cool to see people tinkering and there are a few guys doing these mods (and their “own” amp builds), but the thing most of them, if not all, miss is being able to fix and trouble shoot an amp. I highly doubt every amp them mod is in perfect working condition... it I’m sure the just pop in their models and send it on it’s merry way.

In my work I travel around and maintain/calibrate things and only rarely repair (and only simple repairs) but our regional service centers get all the repairs. It's pretty amazing how much better the in-house guys are vs the field guys when it comes to troubleshooting/repairing.

But do those repair guys swap slope resistors back and forth ad nauseum? Might just be a different goal. I build/mod amps and still occasionally take my amps to the local amp tech because he's really good and some stuff is just over my head.

But it's possible I have a better feel for the difference between a 2k7//0.68uF cathode vs a 3.0k//1uF. Possible
