so far the vox cambridge and purple plexi have some really cool edge of breakup sounds i was hoping for so it seems like a deal so far!

also messed around with the vh 78/79/80/81stuff more and those presets are still fun and great sounding as well.

There are some great Tonex captures floating around. For mid-gain edge of breakup, I think Amalgam and Signal Theory/Worship Tutorial probably have my favorites. The Signal Theory/Worship Tutorial matchless cheiftan and c-30 captures are some of the best I have played through. Their princeton and vox captures are really good too. The amalgam stuff up through heavy crunch is great, but their higher gain stuff is a little bit noisy. Their two rock and super bass captures are great though. The Signal Theory/Worship Tutorial stuff seems to have a better noise floor all the way up through higher gain settings though.

yeah I thought that purple plexi had some pretty nice tones, thanks for posting the full list

discussing the V2 update and how it has technically improved the capture process and quality of the presets

i’ll be spending more time with the different amp captures i got in the everything pack in the weeks ahead, but so far i’m liking the way the tone junkies edge of break up stuff i have gone through sounds.

their demo of sweet sounding fender deluxe discussing the direct amp v amp & cab captures they offer in their bundles.

even though it wasn’t supposed to work this way, some of the 78/79 brown sound presets which are amp/cab captures sounded great through the low sensitivity input of my Peacemaker/Mesa Halfback half stack.

ever since my axe ultra days i’ve always said integrating tubes somewhere in the digital equation always brings me the best results.

if i can replicate these types of tones successfully with the pack i just got, i’ll be very happy!
