Not all of us are here to peddle our wares.
That is correct,i am not here to peddle anything...i was just here answering questions, share experiances, help guys out, thats it.
Instead i am attacked, ridiculed, degraded, and even graded my punctuation ,i dont have to stay here and get treated like dirt i can go anywhere and get treated like dirt
I didn't offer any services or try to sell anything. My avatar isn't an advertisement either.
This site is cool as long as you don't disagree with anything jerry says.
My freinds from EE are good guys and are just trying to get things rolling but last time i checked he wasn't pushing anything in his post.
There is just a sorted few here that are threated by our presence,so they turn and bite but we are all brothers of the same monster on everlasting search for tone.
The internet is very large i'm sure we can find a different forum etc to go to and not get hassled

ya man, maybe its time to get out of here! Just seems like too many people want to piss in your wheaties around here. O well.

humility, and that's not something they teach in Engineering 101.

One of the truest phrases spoken in this entire thread. I cannot tell you how many times I've heard "I'm an electronics engineer" roll smugly off of someone's tongue in an attempt to impress.

"Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my tube amp. I'm wondering if someone might offer some insight. I'm an electronics engineer, so this isn't my first rodeo."

Right... which is why you're asking for help on a forum...

Treble doesn't help you cut through live. Cranking the treble especially in a high gainer is going to give you a fizzy mess and you will be fighting the cymbals.
Its all about the mids.

Didn't mean it like that. What I meant was that there is a ton of bickering I've seen between businesses on here. Makes em all look bad IMO, even those of us that don't 'peddle' our wares.

Just saying.

I think that speaker selection has a TON to do with this. I have never been a HUGE treble guy, but i do like a bit of it. i find that mids tend to cut through better then treble in a live setting, as you are not fighting with bass and symbols on a frequency level
