I checked out the amp mods. I didnt see anything special or anything outlined with detail. I did see a 68 plexi with duct tape on the filter caps? I am not trying to bust balls, I am just saying what I see. A dedicated site would be more beneficial to showcase all of the mods and original builds.

ya that is a original 68 plexi,..it came in with the duct tape and the customer wont let me touch it,he just wanted the bias corrected,he said it sound great the way it is and didnt want to change anything in it,i think he thought the duct tape added to his sound,...thats funny ,.of coarse i abliedge the paying customer,..i'm working the site it will be up soon

Given that potentiometer tapers and tolerance vary wildly aside from obvious circuit differences, i believe that using the numbers on the amplifier face to determine ANYTHING other than remembering where the dial was set when you dialed in your favorite sound is foolish.

I set my treble right between audilbly "soft" and "sharp".

But for the sake of the OP's question, I won't quetsion his reasons. - I play rock, modern metal, Peavey 5150 II, EMGs (usually), usually non boosted, Marshall cab with T75s, around 6 or '1 o'clock'. Pressence on about 4 or '11 o clock'

Blues/classic rock/metal I use the crunch channel, usually boosted, bright switch engaged, presence at about 4, treble at about 5, maybe less, it' quite bright.

Both would be higher in a band situation. I'm talking about bedroom settings, of course volume will change my settings as well.

I use to have it pretty high. When standing next to a cab and away there is a big difference. I use to practice and stand write over the cab, so I did not hear the highs. Playing in a band and away from the cab I heard too much highs, so I have learned to tame it down. I have a PT100 and have my treble set at noon or sometimes a little pass that.

Echelon Engineering, weren't you the one peddling your videos all over guitar world and this forum trying to promote sales? Well, it certainly seems like you spent more time 'engineering' the pretty box the pedals are in than you did the circuits themselves because your demos sounded like crap. Kirk on the other hand can't even 'engineer' a well spelt and punctuated paragraph, or a logical thought for that matter, so I can't wait to hear his amp creations. i make a fine living doing what i do ,and im not a keyboard guy so my puncuation and paragraphing isnt so good ,so what.
I carried myself just fine,i responded to people who asked for help,thats it .jerry doesnt like it and gives me a hard time,..thats cool i'm gonna take my f in engish and my ill carrying ways and just go back to work,i was just trying to be a nice guy and help,not steal anybody's business or take over anybody's territory,i really dont need any more work anyways.

EE pedals are built very well and engineered well like 4 pedals in one they sound great live and are extremely versitile and i doubt anyone from ee is going to start mud slinging with you guys either.

Hey, thanks for checking out our demos. Glad you liked them.

I along with Kirk, spend a lot of man hours honing our craft and frankly, I doubt that you have the capacity of the mind to comprehend such electronics and then take the time to engineer and manufacture them let alone design and produce your very own products. 2nd, I'm not slinging mud, rather helping my teammate. When your teammate gets called onto the carpet, you be there for him and back him up. Not sit behind a computer screen and throw judgements out. Just tired of @ssholes talking sh!t. (kinda like you).

I don't have a problem repping my own product because I believe that its the best one on the market. Bring your rig over and try one out. You'll be eating your words. All top quality components installed by hand. Not to mention 7 year warranty!! does anyone else offer that kind of warranty?

3rd of all. Jerry is a great tech and he does nice work. On the other hand we do just as good of work if not better and probably for a cheaper price. SO, does that make me some kind of troll? Because I wanna let people know we're here and we do good work?? And does it make me some kinda troll that I stick up for my people when someone else talks shit about their work?

I didn't offer any services or try to sell anything.My avatar isn't an advertisement either.
This site is cool as long as you don't disagree with anything jerry says.
My freinds from EE are good guys and are just trying to get things rolling but last time i checked he wasn't pushing anything in his post.
There is just a sorted few here that are threated by our presence,so they turn and bite but we are all brothers of the same monster on everlasting search for tone.
The internet is very large i'm sure we can find a different forum etc to go to and not get hassled
