I don't know if he was the most popular member ever here. But he and mailman were OG legends

who was Steve K ??

Steve King. RT legend.
Worked on oilfields in the Middle East and had a lot of disposable income to purchase one of everything.

I miss that dude. Had many conversations with him about gear and life. Bought and sold quite a few pieces of high end gear with him too. He once sent me a white ESP MX250 to try out before paying him (I had been through several trying to find THE one). Ended up keeping that guitar for several years and wish I still had it.

RIP dude.

Steve and Dan are actually the only reason I am here. I was away a long time. Dan asked me to come back. It was during conversation with Steve and Dan.

To this day I don't buy or sell anything to anyone Steve did not personally recommend.

[lester]

Yeah he had a dream that he was going to retire from the oil industry and him and his wife we're going to move to Ireland, I believe, he had it all laid out, I guess she was still a citizen there or something so it would have been easy for him to get citizenship as well and the places he was talking about over there, it's just unbelievably beautiful... he never made it

[Beyond Black]

Nice tribute, Steve was RT royalty and one cool mf’er.

@Techdeth, take notice of Chris’s clean and manicured feet, and how his floors don’t look like Freddy Kreuger was in handstand position chasing a pterodactyl around the house.
