Trump owns the base of the current party for 2 reasons:
1. His voter base is very loud and very proud.
2. GOP voters who dislike him are usually very quiet about it. You guy's understand why, right?

I'd bet at this current stage he's a shoe in to win the nomination cuase the GOP vote is gonna get
split up among too many candidates - and his base is solid enough to win in that scenario.

He doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning the general in 2024 - unless he cheats.
It's simple math.

Think about it.
The crime took place in 2016.
Michael Cohen has already been prosecuted and found guilty of the crime.
They've been building a case for 7 fucking years.
Their hands were tied while Trump was in office.

Trump's admitted to 'a' payment even though he lied about it in public numerous times.
His last line of defense as laid out last weekend on new shows by his new lawyer is paper thin:

That the payment had nothing to do with his campaign.

1. Stormy got the money less than 24 hours before election day.
2. Rudy and other's are in public record clearly talking about the connection.

So two scenarios.

They turn away and Trump will be, in fact, above the law.
OR
He's arrested and tried by a jury of his peers - just like anyone would be.

You guys know that if not for Gerald Ford's pardon Nixon's arrest was imminent?
He would have surely been convicted too.

The Nixon stuff I posted was before the internet and cable TV, and is on record at the National Public Library of Congress.

Take a few really deep breaths and think about it.
