my first impression was this guy has a killer modded 6 channel head, but needs another 6 channels
=

there is no denying that your tones are wicked and i love the amps you have. i'm just unsure of why you need another 6 channel head to accomplish what you want---couldn't you mod one of the 6 channels on the first amp to get the tone? are the transformers different?

Channel 2 finished!

Here is a clip of both channels:

Channel 2 with max gain:

It feels awesome to play it now! :D
Sounds pretty good. Nice job.

Does not sound like a Cameron but it sounds killer either way. I think even Mark would say that if you are doing amps try not make it sound like someone else's mod make it sound like your own.

very awesome =0

out of interest how many man hours did that take to do?

would love to have the skills to do something similar, i've just started soldering pickups and what not a few months back and still suck heh , the folkesson stuff sounds amazing from the videos of yours i've seen, really great grinding tone, i live in europe so it's a bit more accessible i guess

Well, there is many hours of thinking, testing and tweaking on this amp, but I built channel two in just a couples of hours when I got a idea how to build it.

I have a 3-channel homamade preamp in my rack to :D Switching everything by midi :D
The transformers are the same but I built a different power supply in this.

I 've never played a Cameron amp in person but I totally loves the clips by Nick and Dave of Mark´s awesome sounding amps.
I'm not trying to steal Marks thing and get it to sound 100% like his amps. To me his amps sounds totally killer and I want my amps to sound killer to, but of course I want my own touch to it :)

do you build/mod amps for other people too? ;) (for a price of course)

New clips!

Added tube fx-loop, channel switching and some tweaks to the circuit.

Sounds great, love those gigantic Partridge transformers. I am weird, i would rather have the vintage Laney amp, pretty rare here stateside.

Sounds killer!!
Your Laney PA's are very cool. I can only guess, but I would say they are inducing a unique form of unsolvable gas here

I had the privilege of visiting Henric in his native town Falun yesterday. I was passing through and we set up a little session to listen to his latest adventur in Mod land.

The Laney PA had two channels: One inspired by the Aldrich mod and one was a José version. Both sounded great! The Aldrich had more pronounced lower mids and sounded absolutely chrushing on higher gain settings. My favorite though was the José mode. It had all the good stuff that my Friedman BE modded -68 Plexi has, but while I really don't like the saturation switch on the Friedman, Henrics diode clipping circuit sounded much better and more musical (without the volume drop).

All in all a great effort from Henric and I suspect we'll here more from/about him in the future.

First test of channel 1 today!
Still waiting on some components so it's not finished yet.

Now it's almost finished!
Just need to find out what to do with a hole on channel 2
