Hugely interested in this unit. To what extent does it preserve the character and tone of the amp, though? For live and bedroom use it just sounds perfect!

Everything merits sarcasm if it fits...and there's no petty bitching going on. Perhaps a " " would have made my intent more clear? Just adding some levity to a recently "beat to death" topic. Good luck with your research...it seems to be a great unit.
