added a Marshall SC20C to the amp herd today - man I dig this amp!! Sounds awesome through my 1960BX cab but the real surprise is the tone from the 10” speaker. This thing is like a guitar players practice dream - I kick it on the 5w setting and talk about bedroom volume perfection!! I think this amp will make me a better player just cause it makes me want to play more, and at the tv volume it’s perfect for my apartment.

I had the combo.
Great sounding JCM800.
I replaced the 10" speaker with a 12" speaker. Actually screwed in with 3 screws using the original baffle, if I remember correctly.
Ended up with a g12h30, after trying 4 different speakers.
Compared to higher watt amps, it doesn't have the bigger low end, sounds a bit more middy, which is probably perfect in a mix. Sounded great under a mic, recorded well.
5w setting was fantastic. I could play it at home without blowing my ears out, again recorded well. Don't sleep on the low input, perfect for running a pedalboard with drive pedals into.

Honestly, a great sounding amp that I'd have again.
