I just remember when Kyle used to post FS ads with like 40 amps and guitars. I messaged him several times with no response, then found his gear on craigslist, messaged him with no response. Left buyer feedback calling him "lame" and folks got all defensive..."Kyle's such a great guy" blah blah...

He's a fucking tool that somehow makes every amp sound like total ass with the same dogshit riffs. Ben Eller is a great example of what an influencer should be. Classy and rips on guitar.

Oh my god man, PLX never gets to criticize anyone else's guitar playing until he learns to play in basic time with a rhythm

One time I tried to make a PLX style wank track over youtube elevator music, but I literally could not bring myself to play that far out of the rhythm of the backing



It's actually really difficult to play completely out of the pocket of the rhythm at all times, so maybe he's just super advanced and I can't emulate it....... but I doubt it. Believe it or not, i'm pretty decent at the whole guitar thing

I also sent him an email about an amp of his and I got no response either. No biggie -- I just figured he had too much drama going on in his life. I did want to help him out as he said he needed to get rid of some of his amps. In hindsight though, it worked out perfectly as I later discovered I didn't love it more than my my current amps.

My friend hit him up on IG and same thing. Now reading your responses, seems he was just advertising for the flex. Nothing wrong with being a collector and all but the way he displayed it was how to be a douche 101. Oh and also he's an opinionative dick. You disagree with him and he immediately throws insults as a response. People like that deserve to get called out.

He tried to lowball the shit out of me for an amp I had in the classifieds once ....... when I told him no ..... either his Alt or a " good friend " of his hit me up the same kind of lowballing way ....
telling me the market sucks .... the last time this amp sold was this and this ... etc and etc ...

I don't hate on his channel though ..... if he's able to make a living off doing it ..... more power to him ...

if you don't like it ... it's as simple as don't click on it ..

I find most of it cringy ...... but man ... that's almost every guitar youtuber out there these days ... at least the ones that hit my feed .

IMO ..... 99% of these youtube guys ... even really good ones ..... unless they're shilling the next big thing .....they all run out of content pretty friggin fast

but I also find some of the hate pretty fucking funny too.... probably why I like it here :dunno:

Yeah, I've had that a few times. The messages that tell me, "The market sucks..." so they expect you to sell it $500 less than you normally would. Fortunately for me, I am a patient seller and no need to move things fast. Just because you saw one sell for less doesn't mean mine is going to match that.
