Personally I don’t care what the amp sounds like. And my dislike of pretty much everything GD did after Dookie has nothing to do with BJA being a whiny little bitch. They are putting out better shit than they have in years, seem to finally be listening to what the players have been asking for…modded jcm800, modded plexi’s, and now a modded Marshall that people have been wanting for 30+ years….i guess i just don’t understand the angry get off my lawn attitude about this amp, either. Not saying you personally are bitching and moaning, but there definitely is alot of that going on, and it’s weird to see at a time when Marshall seems to be rather on fire for the first time in a long time.

I think those are all fair points, and I agree about marshall doing the right thing lately (which is something to be excited about)
But those are all definitely non-overlapping with BJA being an eye-rolly champagne socialist virtue signalling faggot who hasn't put out any important music in 30 years, and is coasting on the very success that the "dookie amp" kind of symbolizes
It's the same sort of thing as Tom Morello - shit, maybe his signature guitars are just as amazing as BJA's amp apparently is - but I'm never going to find out, because I would never support him monetarily, just like I wouldn't support BJA

I've never seen that video, but the peavey ultra 60 is a total sleeper amp
I had no idea, I got one in for a repair and new fuses/tubes/etc and was blown away at how huge it sounded

In all honesty putting that Dookie symbol on the front probably turns me off most. Then the influencer spam. Then listening to BJ talk.
I mean, it sounds ok. Just not what I want from Marshall. Especially at that price. I’m more of a treble Kerang guy when it comes to Marshall I guess.
