Universal Audio OX

Didn't like the tones on the Diezel clip but thought the other 2 sounded pretty good. I think it stands for me that I have yet to hear higher gain sounds form the Ox that would compel me to give one a go. Interested to hear what you come up with when yours arrives.

I see some advantages.

No need of a computer - big advantage for me. Quick setup.

No need to load a shit load of IR's. All within the unit, easy to change via iPad.

Also an attenuator. While the Fryette probably is a better one, I could see a use for it when I want to blast out with my cab.

UA's plugin that comes with the unit. Delay, Reverb and some more.

And headphone out.

All fair points and UA is top notch on everything it does, so I’m sure there’s good quality there too.

I really like the Suhr Reactive Load. Today I just received a Mooer Radar in the mail. $149 new/shipped and it’s an awesome little pedal. It’s an IR loader, comes with about 30 cabs. But i can also load my own IR’s. So with my IR’s loaded up, I truly don’t need a PC anymore. Path is Amp output -> SRL -> Mooer Radar -> FRFR speakers. Sounds amazing. I like this so much, I’m going to start a new thread and not hijack this one.
