V30 bottom/Greenback top instead of x-pattern?

I don't really like sound runner. Just a good 14 or 12 gauge stranded copper wire.

Had a jam last night and tried the wiring on a 1960bx cab with v30's & GB Ri's with 14 gauge cable...Sounds great!
