They get places where they can rehearse the full production for their arena shows (stage set, lighting, full sound system)... 5150 is tiny...sixstringking713":3cxmxaou said:why would VH use a rehersal studio when they have 5150 studios? not big enough?

The Roth era was amazing in itself. A fun happy party band that wrote great tunes, Ed's tone was raw and his playing was off the cuff amazing. When Sammy came around the band as a whole became more 'polished' and became alot more versitile in their songwriting imo. I love both, but as of 3/27/15 DLR has totally LOST ITHe is 100% an embarassment to the band and it's legacy.
I'd MUCH rather have Sammy in the band, because frankly, he's just a better singer. At this stage in their careers that is what they deserve. Not some guy screaming and singing so far out of key that it makes me wanna puke! I'll still see them when they come to Cleveland Aug 3rd though![]()

Ill give you the better singer but VH I - 1984 absolutely kills Van Hagar in the better songs and tone dept.SLOgriff":115476ik said:I miss the Sammy Hagar days...better singer, better songs and Eddie had better tone!![]()
I'm sure he's cringing with every off note squelch Roth belts out. But then he looks on the left side of the stage and sees his son over there..and just smiles awaysah5150":1ln9r1ww said:People just come to see Eddie now.
