Verellen "Tubes"

I recieved a pre-order for 2 power tubes for $300. Seems like a cool thing, because I could move them between my Bassman and Budda back and forth. But I have a true worry...they claim you get more "clean" power from them. What if it blows up my Bassman? Is anyone else using these? I'm gonna buy them anyway, I'll stick them in a closet for later.

I like my Verellen Skyhammer and think his quality was on point with his amps. Bummed he's not doing amps anymore, but I am curious about these. I want them to be cool. I want him to be successful.

I'm gonna buy the tubes. The guys seem like they really put a lot of thought into these.

Kinda feeling like Pascals Wager here, lmao. If they are great, and work as advertised, I win. If they suck, I lose. Not a massive investment...although through studying I think they have something.

I'm just doing it, fuck it. Tubes are crazy expensive and most suck anyway compared to the good ole shit. I'll try them and send them out to ya down the road.

If I could have 2 tubes in my Bassman that just ran straight up with no worries, that's worth the investment to me. The tone, on the other hand..the warmth, is the true test.

Nah, you have to feed them the right kind of food to keep that from happening. This is the second one I've had.
