I didn't hate it. Didn't love it either.

Good to see Ed healthy.
 
In my humble opinion, this tune provides a peephole into what is coming next.

I think Ed is fucking with us. I consider him the mad scientist - he is in control. And coming to kick our asses!

Yeah Bro, I think that Im joining you. I just cranked the hell out of it at home and it was totally different experience. You are , after all, supposed to crank VH. The tone doesnt bother me really but Id be lying if said that I like it as much as his older more classic tones. Everything else was pretty much as I expected it; Dave being Dave, Eddie being Eddie and they did it well..

If this is the weakest tune on the album, I think most of us hardcore fans are in for a treat.

No, it's not their prime material, but it's a fun tune. Yeah, it likes being cranked. Guitar tone sounds better in my car than it does through my head phones.

I'm patiently waiting for the cd. :yes:
 
Honestly I wasn't particularly interested until I heard this...the guitar tone on this is not good but makes me want to buy the CD and have a listen, bound to be a couple or three tunes make it worthwhile and Tattoo is slowly growing on me..LOL
 
I must be in the minority here. Not only do I not like it, but I the only thing about that I do like are Dave and his lyrics. Go read his lyrics. Considering how the song is called Tatoo, I think they are perfect. I am pretty sure it is the rest of it that is mediocre. If this is the worst track on the album, I would be happy...but if that was the case it wouldn't be the first single.

The "Fan Video" is awesome! Scantily clad girls getting inked to a soundtrack. I'm on board now... :D
 
Well the casual non guitar playing fan seems to like the song, several guys I work with dig it.

I still have not learned to like it, no fire in the playing imo.
 
it doesn't really "pop" does it? not a whole lot of energy going on. It sounds pretty solid overall but the tempo just drags.

VH has always been a party band that puts out party tunes. WTF did you expect the new record to sound like? Some of you talk like you could stand next to Eddie and even be in the same galaxy. :lol: :LOL: You're just another hater on a message board.

The funnies thing of all is that most of you will go to the concert and jump up and down like a bunch of high schools bitches... STFU.
 
it's a rework 'Down in Flames' an old tune of theirs pre Warner.......... :thumbsdown:

Plus can't be VH without 3 part harmony- no Mike different sound.............
