Have you tried the cab sims to the xlr out? I've matched mine damn close to what I'm hearing from the power amp/cab. really nice not having to worry about a mic now

Haven't had time to noodle around with the cab sims that much . I basically took it to the gigs without knowing what I'm going to get out of it with the poweramp and was really pleasantly surprised! I did try it some at home, played a few presets to Cubase just to know it works and updated it to c63 as well, but didn't even load any of the Redwirez free IRs in... .

What cab model(s) are you using? On stage I have the basic 1960B with the stock g12t-75's and that's what I'd be shooting for, if it makes any difference.

I think it's called Digitech Alt or something... sounds -very- close to my velocity into an EVM. It's a very flat type sound... like the EVM

I haven't a/b with my marshall cabs, so I can't comment there...

The Digitech Alt 4x12 cab is my favorite too.
