Weekly Glenn Fricker is a goober thread

I am impressed with anyone that can make it through a whole Glenn video. I know I can't.
 
Glenn is actually a really cool cat. If you can’t get along with him in person that’s on you.
 
Was thinking it sounded a bit "cocked-wah" and then he revealed he'd been running that EQ pedal the whole time. Literal centimeters from greatness. 🤦‍♂️
 
I normally don't watch his videos because I find his bloviating rather painful. I happened on one that found it's way into my algorithm where he said the wattage on speakers didn't matter. "Plug your 100 watt Marshall plexi into a 50 watt 2x12, it doesn't matter", essentially. When I called him out on that in the comments, we got into it. The guy couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that telling people "just don't turn it up all the way" (which I'm not even sure he said that in the video, I think that was his response to me) is negligent at best and is a recipe for blown speakers. I haven't watched a video since.

Even I didn’t think he was that much of a piece of shit. Seriously, that “expert” still doesn’t realize most amps reach their maximum wattage output at settings far below 10?
