Fortin Beast. aka, Modded 2203KK
I had that amp at my house and I know the voicing darned well (I was the one who made the clips for Ralph)
I'm jealous you got that thing. I really wanted it, but a fourth Fortin is hard to justify (well, for my savings account)
I would go for an Engl Pro V30 or a Mesa Recto V30 cabinet and you'll be good. The Recto cabs can be had cheap. That amp is super tight, and could use a cabinet with a little "give" to add to the mass of the bottom.
Keep in mind that Mike voices his amps through a Freyette Fatbottom Cabinet front-loaded with V30s; you're likely to enjoy a similar cabinet with his amps.
Awesome Clips you did of the Fortin Stuff. That with combination of Ralph's informative charm really pushed me over the edge to buy it. I know what you mean, I'm jealous that you have 2 more Fortin Amps than myself

I am definitely going to get another one for sure.
I haven't heard the Engl Pro V30. But I know the Reto Cab Standard V30. So you are saying the over size Recto Cab is a good match for this amp? I was wondering also about the Recto Traditional 4x12 V30 cabs, which to my knowledge is basically the Stiletto cab dimensions. I was initially reluctant to go for the Recto cabs, because from my experience the have been a bit boomy. I am most definitely selling my Marshall 1960 Vintage Cab. I want something built really well. It has the Marshall V30s in it. Please feel free to share more with me. I am not familiar with Freyette Fatbottom Cabs. Money should be an issue, but this isn't a hobby for me, it is an investment. I am willing to go as far as I need to get what is best for what I am doing. I also need a 2x12 Cab. One that will do well on its on or paired to which ever 4x12 I end up with. So combination suggests are welcomed as well. I have always like the sound of V30 speakers.
