What are y’all using for storage in your music rooms?

I have a music basement. Actually half basement, since the other half is a tavern + movie theater, but half is still plenty. I told my agent to find a killer finished basement with a house on top of it, and she did. 🤩

One is a former large bedroom I converted into a guitar/drum room with two Hercules Racks + lots o' single stands. Have a few stands on the main level, but Ms. Boss complains if I keep too many there.

The other is a mostly concrete storage room that is now an amp/recording console room, fully underground and no windows, and will eventually be covered with acoustic panels. Can play QUITE LOUD in this room, and I like to record fairly loud, but I still wish I had no neighbors within 1000 feet or more.

Only problem is that with a finished basement, all the JUNK you would normally keep in the basement has to go elsewhere. So I put most of it in the garage or attic, but still need to purge....

Next time I move, I hope to design my home, and it will have the same mission, taken to a higher level----a basement bunker/music/entertainment complex with a house on top, hidden somewhere deep in the mountains.

The two shelve units I want to get rid of are these.
Everyone seems to have WAY more cables than I do.

Oh, the ol' "why you spend so much time in that room" gag... followed by a "why do you keep leaving a guitar down/up here"...

My previous house had a huge unfinished basement, It was like a decent sized bar, had a section set up for a live band, a bar, a pool table, and my desk. I miss it and the next house I will have an actual detached studio, since we both want to buy land and build instead of pick something off the market and I can do most of the build myself.

I don't really keep anything that isn't getting used regularly. I guess the exception would be my microphones that mainly get used on drums. I just have a bag that sits on a shelf with them. Not too much space, so can't be keeping shit around that isn't useful.

I really do wish I could do this.
