Honestly sounds a bit weird in the mids (like inorganic if you know what I mean) and muffled like something was between the mic and the speaker to me. Not my favorite tone from you, but I dig that last lick!

Yeah it's my QR. 1st Gear OD1 boosted with an OD808.

Let me explain this a bit. I was complaining to Shreder75 last night about how bright I thought my purple Charvel mutt was. I recorded this very quick clip to send to him. Literally, just slapped a 57 in between the the cone and the edge then hit record. I had a project already set up in Cubase which had delay on the track. I thought the delay sounded good so I left it there. I only listened to it AFTER I sent it to him. He heard it and basically told me to shut the hell up and play because it sounded great to him! LOL!

Yup... that was at low/bedroom volume. Kids were going to bed, so I didn't want to play too loud.

Wow! I would have expected harsh/bright/thin... But not muffled. Maybe that's where the mic was. Or my mic pre? That amp is anything but muffled. Interesting that you found it sounding that way.
