I think it just means we have a feature in the software that is not turned on. At Ultimate-Guitar you could leave public messages on people's profiles. Hit the Blog link in my sig to see what I'm talking about.

Yup. Near as I can tell the feature isn't activated.

I "know" this 'cause at the Kemper forum, which uses the same forum software, it shows multiple pages of public discussions between myself and members who've posed questions.

It does appear to be activated now. Go to this drop down. I think I saw Donnie B. was the first one to use it. Unless I'm mixing apples and steak sauce.

Pretty sure we've explained last year that anything related to Profile posts can be ignored 'cause the ability to make them hasn't been enabled.

Not actually sure why this is the case, but either way, references to it and indeed links can be ignored / won't work 'cause there's nothing there.
