Good to see the old gang here.
I don´t get the Scott-hate, some folks need their sense of humour checked...

Good to hear about the kids. Unplugged duo sounds nice. :)

So and so - we've bought a house in will move there in 4 weeks, a big one where I will have sep. rooms for soldering and playing. I'm looking forward to that. The kids are fine, Chloé is 15 now and almost a woman - with all the problems around becoming an adult. Raphael is 7 now and very enjoyable. Job-wise I have way too much work to really enjoy life with too much things to do - even on weekends. The price you have to pay having lots of responsibility and co-workers. My marriage could be better, but thats probably normal after almost 20 years being together and one has to go thru periods like this. I still have hope that things will be smooth soon though . . .

Damn Olaf, life moves fast, Chloé is 15 already?? Got that baseball bat behind the door yet??
Good luck with the move, we´re gearing up to move to our new place on December 1st!! Can´t wait to get this behind us!

I think you guys are on to something here. Maybe Brad can start a subforum for members to hang and chat. Get some RT patriotism going and make the place a little more personable. We went through the transition with all of the marketing stuff, mods going away, etc. Then the place had a good share of trolls. Get it back like the older days.

Scotty is good people and always kept it real. hope he is enjoying some down time from here and maybe bagging a few nice fish. cheers Scotty. keep in touch..

Id be more wary of people who always skate issues and stand up for nothing then people who aren't afraid to rock the boat for something that they believe in.
My problem is I could never figure out what he believed in and was rocking the boat about since he was kind of obtuse about it...

Look, I love Digi - great guy and always dug talking gear and guitar playing with him, but his posting here definitely took a decidedly negative tone over the last year or so, and as I said, I could never figure out what he was so unhappy about though I engaged him several times about it. I also don't get all the cloak and dagger, "delete my username and I'll post under another one and not tell my good buds I've been hanging with for over half a decade."

Still miss having him around...

Steve

That's because you didn't get the super secret decoder ring that would have allowed you to understand what he was saying...sheeeeeeesh :D

Hi Olaf! I hear you on the too much work part. Seperate rooms for soldering and playing sounds nice though, I'm sure this will have a very positive impact on family life! Good luck with everything, especially the move right before Christmas.

 and greetings from Frankfurt!
Moritz

Also: As a long-time lurker and heaving read his posts for over eight years I agree with the people who are agreeing about the agreement that Scott is, as has been agreed, a good fellow! Wish him all the best as well!

He should start his own forum titled, "Scott knows tone as long as you like what I like and don't buy too much or promote anything else". His constant slagging of everyone (that took it) and whatever they tried, got old. Not that anyone should have given two shits about what he thought. The bantering and hidden agendas were entertaining though. He tried to cover Don's role, and that didn't work out.

Kinda how I read him.

But what the FUQUE (perfumey, high-brow Euro spelling) do I know?

And who gives a SHITE what I think?

And WHY in the hell did I just waste 15 minutes reading this entire thread?
