I don't hang here much these days but always enjoyed Scott's posts. No bullshit straight to the point. I would most definitely call him a friend.

He should start his own forum titled, "Scott knows tone as long as you like what I like and don't buy too much or promote anything else". His constant slagging of everyone (that took it) and whatever they tried, got old. Not that anyone should have given two shits about what he thought. The bantering and hidden agendas were entertaining though. He tried to cover Don's role, and that didn't work out.

You're ok in my book Steve but imho, you totally misread Scott... yes hes a good friend of mine but stepping back and looking at it objectively, I can't see any of that at all save some of his barzini-isms

There's more negativity in this thread than I would expect, then again when you've been on the forums for long enough it's not difficult to collect a group of haters unless you just agree with what everyone else says.
I totally agree with you.

Steve

I see what you did thar.
Also, I agree!
Scott is good people.
Let's make a chain.

I also agree :D

Hi Knut, Steve, Bob.

Hi, Olaf :)

How are things in Norway, Knut?

Except for the weather, which seems to have missed what season it is (not a natural disaster, just rain and dark when I go to work, and get out of work :D), everything is good :) The kids are growing up, and are a joy.

I've been playing more acoustic lately, a friend and myself are doing the "unplugged-duo" kinda thing about once a month.
Gear-wise, there have been minor changes. I got myself some bass-related stuff, because I also play bass from time to time.

How about you, is everything fine and dandy in your neck of the woods? :)

Good to hear about the kids. Unplugged duo sounds nice. :)

So and so - we've bought a house in will move there in 4 weeks, a big one where I will have sep. rooms for soldering and playing. I'm looking forward to that. The kids are fine, Chloé is 15 now and almost a woman - with all the problems around becoming an adult. Raphael is 7 now and very enjoyable. Job-wise I have way too much work to really enjoy life with too much things to do - even on weekends. The price you have to pay having lots of responsibility and co-workers. My marriage could be better, but thats probably normal after almost 20 years being together and one has to go thru periods like this. I still have hope that things will be smooth soon though . . .

Yeah, the opposite sex-troubles never seem to end... At least you've stuck together for 20 years, I never managed that. Ask is 5 this friday, and Håvard is 8, so I still don't have the teenage angst in the house, hehe. The kids and I got a new apartment a couple of months ago, we're safely installed there now. It's sad when it doesn't work out, but mostly for the kids after a while. Grownups survive, we've tried it before, and know there's better days ahead.
