What happened to the Helios?

I emailed Charley at Bogner in mid November. His response: The Helios will be a regular production amp and will be released in 2-3 months.

But my issue is that it reeks of vaporware when an announcement is made and then no product appears.

There could be something I'm not aware of, but I don't know of Bogner ever having presented a product at a show of any kind that didn't make it to market. Bogner is a professional outfit who delivers.

It's coming, Bogner unfortunately has a long history of announcing amps at Namm and other amp shows and then taking several years for actual product to hit shelves. Nothing new with Bogner unfortunately imho.

From the demos, the Helios sounds really great and different from the BE voicing. That would be like saying why get an Uberschall when the Rectifiers exist. Ok, well maybe not that different, but Bogners definitely have their own sound, as do Friedmans.

Hahaha, there was a time when I was waiving the Bogner flag bigtime and I still love the amps but haven't been on an amp question in years now so I'm not up to speed.

Plus, I have no problem being wrong. It's part of how you learn things and stuff...

Hahaha, there was a time when I was waiving the Bogner flag bigtime and I still love the amps but haven't been on an amp question in years now so I'm not up to speed.

Plus, I have no problem being wrong. It's part of how you learn things and stuff...

I assume you mean amp quest? Didn't Fryette/VHT amps end that quest for you way back when? Also, when did you get so serious? I know I only come here in spurts about once or twice a year, but where is the silly Bob?
