I dont use Ebay much if at all anymore for selling but I had a few odds and ends (Not Guitar related) I thought I would list on there in the form of 7 day auctions , within minutes of listing them I have received offers on every item that I listed that is way above the average selling price in some cases what these items would sell for new.

The one thing in common with every one of these "Offers" is that they are being made by brand new day old accounts .

Apparently I might have stepped into "it" by accepting two of these offers from brand new zero feedback members a couple of days ago and surpise surprise payment has not been made on either of them with no communication forthcoming.

I have since declined the oddly generous offers from all these Brand new day old Ebay members on my remaining active auctions and will let the auctions ride the full seven days as I initially intended hoping that these dillweeds dont Bid on and win them in the end.

Ive been on Ebay since 2000 and havent seen this type of weirdness before. What do you guys think is going on here ?

This is a fairly old scam. They are gonna try to get you to ship out of country next. Ebay knows about this. If you go in your preferences you can change requirements for buyers to prevent this...they are always new accounts.

I did that actually. I even stated that I only ship within the continential U.S. in my description ,Selected the countries in Ebays menu that I thought would restrict bidding from and these brand new Members are listed as residing inside the U.S.
Weird Ive been on Ebay for 20 years as a buyer/seller and this is my first time experiencing this kind of activity.
