How are the 6L6BSTR in a VH4? do they sound good? very different to EL34BHT?
yeah ive been checking it out on the bay and it would be cool to own but i already have a VH4 and i would rather spend any spare cash on a Herbert!

does anyone know if you can still buy Ruby 6L6BSTR ?? i have looked online and cant find any.
i know its a hard question to ask, but "tonally" would there be a huge difference between the Ruby 6L6BSTR and the Ruby EL34BG ?? From what i understand, the 6L6 will give the clean channel a little more "roundness" and the dirty channels a bit more of a "modern / smooth" saturation compared to the more "crunchy / raw" EL34. Would that be about right?
