Which cable do you trust to run your rigs?

I appreciate this is your own opinion, but to call Mogami ‘low quality’ and state it as fact, undermines your position and potential credibility.

I’ve had the same Mogami cables for over 10 years without issue and they’re still going strong. I can’t say the same for other brands.

Again, it’s your opinion.
That isnt my opinion...... Mogami was placed on the bottom 10 of 79 different cables when it comes to noise floor, mechanical noise, capacitance and other factors and considerations....... that is a fact and relative to these other cables or practically most cables on the market they are low quality cables.

I didn't like Mogami's spiral shielding. Makes building cables easier but has less coverage than a braided shield. YMMV.

Real world application suggests otherwise.

I used only Monster or Mogami for 20 years,
but now I'm loving Pig Hog Cables, especially for the price.
I have my whole amp wall and switching system connected with Pig Hog cables
and it sounds excellent!

But are the fragile harmonics able to survive the crystal lattice when moving through the cables that may or may not have fully oxygen free copper? That's still up for debate.

No, they cannot. Oxygen allows the tone to seep from the cable rather than being directed entirely into your amplifiier. I have seen more than one guy with a fancy Special Reserve guitar and boutique amp negate to purchase oxygen free cable and then be in distress when they can't figure out where the tone loss is coming from. Not using oxygen free cabling is the guitar equivalent to donning tan slacks for a gig that haven't been creased or starched.

Whatever works in your rig, as others have stated is cool. Unless it’s Monster, then it’s not cuz that’s a terrible company that tried to sue everyone over the name. James Tyler Guitars wouldn’t do that.

Rattlesnake, Mogami Gold, Pignose, Lucky Dog, Boss, Warm Audio, Kirlin, Proco, Daddario, Planet Waves, Monster, Live Wire Elite...

I'm not picky. Just want them to work for a long time and sound good.

The big white Bullet coily cable that GMD used on his videos, that I bought from him, was a PITA and failed pretty quickly. Didn't bother with the lifetime warranty.
