Which gear would you sell?

I don't really understand why people like the SLO-100 so much. It's got this grainy dryness to it and a very apparent lack of high midrange that I don't like. I'd get rid of that and the 5150. I don't care for most Peavey's including the 5150... it's that honky sounding midrange that I don't like, and the lack of clarity. If you had a Diezel VH4, i'd say get rid of that too, the high end is weird on those amps, like there's a lack of high end saturation and the lows are bouncy sounding.
A 5150 biased properly and cranked to 6.5 will cut your head off. They get bright and clear up just fine while also dominating a mix. They are built to do one thing and one thing only - to be played stupid loud. You also have to choose your preamp tubes carefully as they’re very sensitive to preamp tubes.

The 5150 is a specific sound for sure. I definitely have more articulate amps. Or less compressed amps. And aggressive ones. The 5150 is a one trick pony like you said. But it’s a really good fucking trick. A properly set up one does a specific noise that’s irreplaceable for a certain type of music. It’s also probably my cheapest head based on market value. But it has outlasted many many heads more expensive than it haha

Sorry I just hate the sound of them, properly biased or not doesn't matter. They're just not for me.

I definitely get that. Everyone’s got opinions! I asked for them too. I like hearing everyone’s thoughts on everything. On this forum they’re pretty damn valid.

Buy an amp switcher and a/b stuff. You'll find out real quick what you like most.
That’s solid advice and what I ended up doing. I moved a couple after this pic and am putting up a wizard and a Marshall and I think that’ll be good for thinning out.

Think about redundant tones that you may have covered by multiple amps (like the rectifiers for example) and sell the ones you like the least.

Another good piece of advice I’ve read is to wait 6 months, make note of what amps you haven’t touched in that timeframe and then let them go.
Sacrilege!!!!

Sell what's not rare so that if you want another in the future you can find one again....5150, Omega , Hi watt, 2203

OR.....

Buy a Kemper, profile them all and sell everything!
