Which of these three amps?

Got it narrowed down to three amps for the next one (in order of what I am leaning towards)

Mesa Roadking II
Diezel D-Moll
PRS Archon

I am thinking RK II since it is loaded with features, particularly the different power tubes and combinations but I have never owned a Diezel before and the D-Moll sounds impressive. The PRS is the cheapest and sounds great in clips but is a little flat on features.

Out of these three what would you pick and why.

Interesting. The Archon seems to be getting popular quick. What didn't you like about the RK?

Features ? Or more bullshit really unneeded ?
When you come down to it if it has your tone for your music that's all you need fancy bells n whistles can't cover up for the wrong amp. It's there or not. Archon has it n there's no fkn around trying to get it. Just like a straight ahead Marshall. Volume gain bass treble n Mids ? Good fx loop n your on !

I was originally thinking Roadster but the tube combinations is really tempting me in the RK. What's the tonal difference between the two?

I used to be a multi channel it's gotta be versatile amp kinda guy. Now I use a PRS Blistertone head which is a high gain single channel amp. I'm digging the simplicity of manipulating the volume control on the guitar for different shades of dirt. It's been liberating.

TBH, I haven't actually played a Road King. But, I don't care for the extra features, the Roadster w/ EL34's already enough great tones where I don't go searching for more tube options or anything else.

Dmoll by leaps and bounds. I just don't trust the PRS amps yet.
The Dmoll is probably one of the best amps I've had in last 10 years and I've had almost everything from Friedman, Bogner, Mesa, ENGL, Wizard and so on.

I know Diezels have their own voicing but what does the D-Moll remind you of, meaning similarities with other amps you have tried.

To my ears it's sort of similar to a Triple Recto but with more clarity and different midrange growl. Sure some folks bash the Rectos but when dialed in they're fantastic amps. I had a 2013 VH4 - the Dmoll - and Mk1 Herbert, and prefer the DMoll. IN the Diezel line the DMoll sits between the Herbert and VH4 in terms of tones and low end. VH4 didn't have near the low end the DMoll did (transformers on the Dmoll are huge) of course the Herbert has low end but wasn't as raw sounding as I liked. The Dmoll just roars and has lots of tones with the mid-cut feature. Contrary to what I thought it did, it's not a mid scoop...the Mid Cut actually increases low mids (Mesa Recto known for that I suppose) versus Marshalls having lots of upper mids.

I've had various high gainers ENGL Powerball II, ENGL Savage, Uberschall Rev 2, Rev Blue, Twin Jet, Wizard MC50, Triple Recto, MkV, Friedman BE-100 (not super high gain but can get close) as a reference point.

Clean channel on DMoll is big and punchy very versatile too - can gain up if you want it to. Channel 2 is fantastic and covers a ton of mid gain to pummeling high gain. Channel 3 has a bouncier voicing with more gain - almost too much it you're used to setting gain at 2:00. I never ran the gain on channels 2-3 over 12:00. I boosted it (for tighter feel...not that it's not tight, just habit) and it's just a stellar amp. I liked it the best out of the aforementioned Diezel's above.

Road King doesn't cut like the DMoll - I've played several RK...cool amp but, meh - the DMoll is ferocious.
Bang for buck the Archon might be decent - but if you're lucky you can find a DMoll for about $2200. Looks like the prices went up...so no longer a sub $3000 Diezel.

Has anyone gigged with it? Has anyone done any sessions with it?

Probably not.

Can buy an Archon for $1500 after discount. I still have a hard time trusting it. Like if Bogner started making guitars
