Here's my Pottery Barn desk. I am going to do a before and after thread on this room because we're going to do some remodeling on the house and I'm redoing this room. Going hardwood floors, redoing the walls, etc... But here it is today. Everything is within reach and the little fold-up table holding my Axe and preamp was like $19.99. When I remodel the room, I'll probably add a couple of 4u racks on that little desk instead of just sitting the equipment there.

In Ikea, I like almost all the tables, they look very stylish.

Yea well i'm not handy enough to build anything close to an Argosy. LOL

They are very easy to build, took about 3 or 4 hours, but the instructions are very clear.

Don’t under estimate the importance of a great desk. Sonically, it very much matters. The argosy is designed in such a way that the sound doesn’t bounce off the desk like it will on other desks. Spend the money on the argosy halo, you’ll be glad you did. Here’s a messy pic of mine soon after I got it built.

I got one of these:

I've been really happy with it. One adjustment though: the upper shelves are a little high for comfortable screen viewing. I got a couple monitor arms so I can lower the viewing monitors below shelf level. Easy fix.

I have a Focusrite Clarett+ 8pre for my interface, and my AXE III, but just about everything else I do in my DAW. I'm only just learning a lot of this stuff, but I'm having a blast.
