heres mine,

I tracked plugged strait into the amp and added a little delay after in protools.

the mic was an Audix D3 on a cameron 4x12 cab (h30 / cl80 x pattern) I miced up the CL80 speaker because its nice and smooth for leads

Mic pre - Golden age pre 73 (neve 1073 copy)
Interface - Black Lion Audio Signature modded 002
Protools 7.4
Guitar - Carvin Dc127 w/ aldrich bridge and duncan 59 neck
Amp - Cameron Aldrich Modded plexi

Don't send me a DI, send me your solo through the amp miced up.

You know what is so cool about this even after just hearing 2 solos is you can hear where these guys come from, who they grew up into and their individual styles. This is gonna be wicked. I gotta get warmed up if I'm gonna even come close to hangin with this heat!

Your the best awesome idea, you should extend this to NAMM as a bunch of us will be out in LA and can come by one day and track our solos in the studio. I know myself, Mark Day (SamHillBand), Andy Wood and Carl Roa, Dave Friedman etc... will be hanging and can come by and try to do it one shot and have a good time in the process.

Let me know if that works for you and if you have the time for us knuckledraggers to come by the studio and lay it down.

I surely don't have the chops of some of you amazing players, but I wanted to give it a try too, so don't beat me for not being 100% on the dot here.

Steavens Poundcake via a Heritage 2x12, a Sennheiser 609 on the Vintage30 and an SM57 on the G12H30, I panned the two tracks 24% L/R. Guitar is a McCarty with a BareKnuckle MiracleMan in the bridge.

Got it all in dry single tracks and 24 bit ... in case Lugo wants it that is
