Who wants to play a solo on Rig-Talk members only song?

I'll drop you a solo this weekend too, sounds like a fun track!
 
Been having a blast playing over it at home today! I have garage band don't know how to use it. If I could record it would be fun but for now I am having a blast jamming over the track live in my man cave!

Got some critical amp stuff I gotta get done this weekend... I'll get to this next weekend if it's still open... James said a couple weeks so... we'll see...

Yeah, hopefully it's not too soon, my "soundguy" is not avalaible this weekend
 
Everyone we have a couple of weeks to get everything in. Remember send me a solo only version to my email:
jameslugomusic@gmail.com

Try to get it to start at the same spot as the track so I can easily line it up. So there will be some dead space on your track while the half time section builds up.
 
Man I've got about 10 solos in my inbox, haven't gone through them yet just wanted to touch base and let you guys know I'm back from a 3 day session and am gonna start messin with this. I'll give everyone another week or so and then I will put one together and then I will do a revised one in January when the boys come out for NAMM and come here and cut solos. :rock: Should be fun. So you guys got a week or so to get in the solos.

Here is my lunch break solo. I haven't played lead in a band for about 8 years, so I am a bit rusty.

Gear used Ibanez RGA121 with WCR Ironman pups -> Peters 20 watt dual channel using the Warhawk preamp -> Avatar traditional 412 with V30s -> SM57 up close, MXL 2001 Condenser about 5 foot away slightly off axis -> Presonus Inspire 1394 -> Mac Pro Garage band. I didn't do any EQ, I thought it wounded OK flat through my monitors.

James let me know if you want the original files. My playing is pretty rusty, and sloppy.

Yes sent the solos only files to: jameslugomusic@gmail.com Try to have the start point of the guitar solo only file be the same start point as the music bed I uploaded, so I don't have to align everything by ear. Meaning there will be dead space at the beginning of your solo where the cut time ends on the track.

James, if you have the time can you compile a list of the solos you've received so far just to verify for those who sent one in? Thanks.
