Yeah, that's kinda how it has to work buddy. We're not talking about a guided laser system. It's a guy with a rifle looking through a scope at a target 4 1/2 miles away. The previous world record took more shots than that to land. When you find someone that can do it at all, much less do it in less shots, you let me know.

Always thought the Billy Dixon shoot would be a fun one to attend. 1538 yards with a Sharps. Rainbow trajectory....some badass shooting with old tech though.

Yes, I have a Barrett M99 Heavy barrel 50 BMG, and since giving up on a Sig 277 Fury, the M99 Heavy Barrel in Barrett .416 is at the top of my weapons list.

I hate to nitpick but the closest shot didn’t hit Trump. It hit nearby equipment and he was struck by shrapnel.
And BOT, wish I was a better shot. Without the drill sgt doctoring my score at the range I would still be in basic training.

I got roundly ass chewed as a liar on a gun forum once when I mentioned a Marine Corps friend of mine saying doctoring scores was common place there to get guys to pass. And it looks bad on the instructor if they don't get a lot of grad percentages, also contributing to the problem.
