A few more stats for you...

Dependent on the source material

US kill to death ratio: up to 6:1
UK kill to death ratio: up to 4:1
Russia kill to death ratio: up to 1.5:1

I stated the higher estimates given for each country; hence the "up to". By those metrics the US did the heavy lifting and Russia didn't carry their own weight.

Like I already said, there is no consensus on who contributed the most to the war effort. There's no point in trying to argue this. The one thing that is generally agreed upon is if the US didn't enter the war it would have lasted much longer and allied forces would have suffered much heavier losses.
Was that a "copy pasta"? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Of course you do remember that Germany declared war on the US. You do, don't you? Yes?
Yeah, after Japan bomber Pearl Harbor. Only then did they declare war on the US knowing another power was in it to cover their Nazi asses.

Don't forget the US was in a state of Nationalism at the time until we finally got dragged into another European war. I suppose if you subtract our actual fighting over there and all the shipments of supplies, etc., the UK and the rest of the Axis powers still would have won WWII all by yourselves huh?

PS: Even if Germany would have won the war - I'm not so sure they would have been able to take on anything on US soil :dunno:

Re your PS: I think the answer to that question would rest on who won the nuke race. Remember too that Germany was far ahead in the building of intercontinental missiles. Obviously we'll never know the answer to the question but it's an interesting query.

Declaring war on the US was a mistake. Invading Russia, especially after postponing the invasion to cover Italy's ass in the Balkans was an ever bigger and fatal mistake.

Sorry, you're completely wrong. All those stats indicate is which armies were better trained and supplied. The meaningful statistic to the question of who did the heavy lifting is who killed the most Germans. Russia killed almost as many as everyone else combined. They fought alone for those 900+ days until the allies invaded France. And yes, I am familiar with the actions in North Africa and Italy.

I've said it several times, but I guess you keep missing my point.
There are several metrics to measure who contributed the most to WW2. This is why there is not consensus even amongst experts. Every Allied Nation did heavy lifting through their own merits. Without combined efforts the victory very well could have gone to the Axis Powers. If you want to keep arguing a point that's not there be my guest.

This guy really really loves Russia......

Is it just me but when did the left take guys like Putin as heroes or Russia.....

Or decided to be on the side of tyranny and evil like on the side of the Iranian Regime vs being on the side of Democracy and America.

Is it a surprise you have guys like Adolf Mamdani and their anti-American and Anti-Semitic rhetoric and pretty much modern day Nazis and Socialist Communist that the Democrats now embrace 100% shamelessly.

Ive been thinking about it......

And IMO an option on the table for the President is not to invade Iran but simply take the coast along Hormuz.

Establish a buffer zone between it and the Strait of Hormuz and Iran won't be able to do anything about it. We take the Kharg Islands too.

And if Iran wants to ship it's oil anywhere in the future or use Hormuz they have to come to the table and make a deal. Even after a deal is made we keep the Islands and we stay on the coast and contain Iran further. Pretty much short of a full on invasion of the mainland, we just take the coast, the Island and establish a permanent blockade until they want to make a deal.

It's not perfect but they are in the top of the 9th inning with 2 outs at this point..... And we can't let them get on base or give a sac fly or score more runs..... It's time to finish the job and short of a full on invasion force in the mainland this is the next best solution and an even better solution. It's time to close this thing and shut them out.

The whole plan is, hey we aren't here to invade, we are here to just open up the Strait. The Iranian Regime and the Iranian people decide the future of their country. All we want is to open the Strait, not allow Iran to take it hostage and to stop their nuclear ambitions.

What if Albert Einstein had stayed in German working for the Reich?

You should post that on your Truth Social account. See if it gets some traction 🤷

I posted about the WWII series on History in the TV/movies sub-forum but it didn’t get much traction. It’s not dripping in drama for the sake of TV and is truly interesting. I have a vested interest in the subject (my dad was on a B-29 and flew out of Andersen AAFB). What keeps hitting home is how brutal and horrific it was. Truly disturbing…

On the topic of Russia, they suffered the most losses because they have a massive amount of people, didn’t (and don’t) give a fuck about them and fed them to the machine…

Right on, sounds like a good idea......

Anyways, you can thank President Trump for saving the world from a Nuclear Holocaust, he's the man.

He hasn’t saved shit, yet. Instigated with no positive results? That’s the current status…
