I imagine if they released a tweaked, modified mark series amp made for either Hetfield or Petrucci that they'd sell them faster than they could make them. And a Dave Grohl Recto would probably get a ton of interest.

My guess as well. But great question. I agree they would sell a ton more amps that way but no doubt Randall Smith is doing great as isJerEvil":3vpzi6y8 said:They sell enough amps without needing to use sig models to keep their brand moving.

Shared controls - Simple solution: 2 Boss GE-7 (1 loop,1 front of amp), Maxon/ibby 808mojotone":hhrzxg5s said:danyeo":hhrzxg5s said:I imagine if they released a tweaked, modified mark series amp made for either Hetfield or Petrucci that they'd sell them faster than they could make them. Could you imagine all the pissing and moaning from the "new age" crowd about having shared tone controls among the amp's channels? Heaven forbid that your clean channel gain have an influence on your lead channel gain. This is why I don't see MESA doing a true IIC+ re-issue. Never say Never, though.

Oh I have a 60w no Eq and no simulcast just verb MK III. I use a RJM RG-16v2 and a RJM RED MMGT (in sig) so 1 button will switch several effect at once. It is divided up with effects up front and in the loop. I mostly just use the GE-7 in front of the amp.mojotone":1k45sqpm said:jlbaxe":1k45sqpm said:Shared controls - Simple solution: 2 Boss GE-7 (1 loop,1 front of amp), Maxon/ibby 808
Unless you have 4 feet to do the stomping (all at once), I can't see how this solution will work.
Mind you, I am a Boogie Mark II owner, and use the EQ AUTO selection on my amp. That is, graphic EQ auto assigned to the lead channel only.![]()
