Why i did not keep the Soldano SLO 100

Did not work fo me. I just sent it back. It's a Sendbackdano now. It might also be an Unsoldano. :D

I’ve owned a SLO and various rectos. I prefer rectos for more metal and more aggressive tones. The SLO is the better rock amp.

My rev f dual is perfect for me

The Rev F is noice. I had 2 very early of 'em. And 1 Rev D, among others.
 
When I had an SLO (it was a clone) it was a noodlers dream but a chuggers nightmare. So I'm not surprised you didn't like it.

Both are not my favs but I still like them . I mean I think I like most higain amps and can coax a great tone out of them . But I get it . I’m not a big recto guy either
 
Did you try cranking the presence to almost max, mids above noon, treble around 3 on the dial?

There are a couple of other things you can do to make the SLO more raw and open, less smooth, short of modding.

But really, if it's not your thing, there it is. Def a better rock amp than a drop tune chugger.

I think i had 7 Rectifiers.
