I play with myself all the time.....but not like that. :aww:

Good stuff Jim......you really shred!
I like the 1st vid better. The 2nd video was good but the rhythm track was hard to hear over the leads.
Thanks Dan. I honestly think both are awful but i'm driving home the point that loopers can be an effective learning tool and a lot of fun at the same time

JamUp Pro Xt comes with a looper function. That damn program may just be the best 14.99$ I have ever spent on software.

Gotta respect you for posting this video, I never would have.

Great way to improve and move forward as a geetar :m17: player, btw always liked your playing until this. :D

Just kidding!

I hear ya. Again ya gotta crawl before ya can walk. I'm tired of crawling. Atleast if in a few month i can play better you'll know why

sounds good dude! I remember an Yngwie (pretty sure it was Yngwie) interview from a long time ago and he mentioned he always recorded himself - he said it was like looking in the mirror to see where you were at. Another thing I like to do is when I'm working on hard fast stuff - I record it with a click or drum track then I play it back in half time just to see how accurate I am - that can be fun

My dad has been recording my gigs for over 20 yrs now........We (the band) will sit and watch the weeks gigs to critique our performance, this has been an invaluable tool to improve the band......The best part band-wise is each member will hear their own shortcomings and generally fix the problem without another member having to.point it out........The viewing session is usually silent as everyone is busy self-critiquing...This allows us to be much more.productive as practice time as we have removed the finger pointing dynamic that can occur.....The tape just doesn't lie.
