"Key word: fear. Use it to your advantage."*It's the fear of fascism
vs
the fear of violent crime.
Never underestimate the power of the politics of fear.![]()

My God, I'd hate to have to salute someone like that. I would have to revert to a dis i used before: a salute and almost unintelligible "blow me, sir"
I remember my TV-brainwashed in-laws saying the upcoming election would be the "most secure election in history".Another Trump fix: in-person voting ONLY.
He’s personally involved because crap like this is how he "lost" the 2020 election.
My 2 word description: easily swayed.I remember my TV-brainwashed in-laws saying the upcoming election would be the "most secure election in history".
All i asked is how they would even know this, when mail in voting had never been used to this extent before?
Fucking crickets. It filled me with sadness, as i realized that all boomers are mostly like this.
Boomers grew up with TV, and also back then the TV and journalists were not talking shit 24/7. So boomers trust the TV.
But modern TV is some of the worst propaganda bullshit out there. My parents are just as bad, they see something on TV and repeat it as if it is an absolute truth. And most of it is easily explained away or exposed as bullshit with just a little bit of logic instead of feelings.
Humans as a species are just a huge disappointment. All of that potential completely wasted.
Another Trump fix: in-person voting ONLY.
Help is available, it just takes a little more effort to vote legally. Especially if it reduces outright fraud. How does that work for the military, elderly and disabled? Or, the people who cannot get off work?

Yes. AFAIK no one voted for Wokevoting. The same way it has worked for almost 250 years?

Now you're on the trolley!Absentee ballots
If you mean a living vegetable in a nursing home, they shouldn't be voting. Or getting someone to vote FOR them. How does it work for people who cannot physically be present at a voting booth?

None of these things you are pointing out are new phenomena. But it was able to be figured out, without the huge fraud potential of mail in voting/ballot harvesting.I gave specific examples of military, elderly, disabled and working people as reasons why exclusively in-person voting is a terrible idea. Here are a few more: people who are hospitalized, too sick to go to a voting booth, traveling or working in another country because of their job.
