You can literally show verifiable facts to them and they won’t believe it. They will believe the opposite of the actual truth most of the time.
A friend of mine who is a democrat has showed this to me a dozen times over. He has never once come back later when things came out and he couldn’t deny the truth anymore. It’s sad and fascinating all at the same time.
